I found an great golf app. Its called "Short Game Tutor" and its nothing like the rest of the golf apps on this list. My brother used it once while practicing. The next day he won his first tournament and $1050.00. He felt pretty good about the 3 bucks he spent on the app.

If you are a big fan of Manchester United FC, I am surprised that you are happy about the news. FC United of Manchester will one day be your new club and it will be run by yourself as well as an owner supporter and you will be proud like Barcelona , Real Madrid and Bayern Munich supporters are (to name a few) that run on the same system.

I'm not so convinced about the source of this desicion. Perhaps a few millionaires are realising that this club is Growing too much and becoming dangerous.

Tell you what, Mike, if this is a NotW fabrication, I'll be furious. The press have a responsibility and it is NOT number of papers sold. Furious but unsurprised, sadly...

I too would feel bad for Amir but that wouldn't alter his guilt if so found and yes, the sacrifice is required. Hit the users and the dealers - always with the aim of getting the dealers, of course.

I share your pessimism with regard to the ICC. Pathetic shower. Just watched their press conference on Sky Sports News. A whole hour of saying nothing. Thanks for that.

The more I've read and heard of this scandal, the more I am becoming open to the possibility that this particular incident is a fabricated set-up by the NotW. That would make me even more angry than the alternative, because it would show once again that the tabloid scum are willing to do absolutely anything, including ruining lives, to sell their despicable rags. And we also know very well that if this were shown to be the case then NOTHING will happen to NotW or those "reporters" involved.

Having got that off my chest, I think we have to accept that the players being guilty is a more likely scenario. Should they be banned and prosecuted to the degree you suggest? I can't help thinking it smacks of going after the users instead of the dealers, and I would feel particularly sorry for Amir who I suspect, at 18, is guilty of little more than naivety under pressure from his team captain and others. However, for the longer term good of cricket and other porfessional sport, perhaps such a sacrifice is required.

I can only hope that the police investigation produces a clear result, because I have little expectation that the ICC one will.

I wish Hearn well, I think he's a good business man and has been good for snooker for many years. I'm not a snooker fan but in the same way that I've seen non cricket fans embrace a sport I love first via 40 overs games and more recently via 20Twenty I think I might be up for watching limited frames snooker.
The problem, as with all these initiatives is that people always want more, where will they stop? Double points if you cannon the black into the far corner? A free 'hit' if you get three reds in a row?
